Conceptual, melodic, original and diverse, Jim Wiora's lead guitar style sails through textural grooves woven of fabric from the heaviest blues-rock and tasteful progressive riffs to subtle acoustic compositions that draw on rhythms inspired by the world music community.

 

A guitarist since age 9, Jim has been heard working in bands and studio settings in and around the greater Chicago area and surrounding states for over 35 years.

 

Most recently a guitarist with Chicago cover band Phoenix Rising, Jim also writes independently and with a variety of talented local and national musicians, composes for soundtrack/licensing and is currently available for local, national or international touring as a guitarist, percussionist/conguero, aux keyboardist, tech support (guitar or computer) or other critical tour support.
